Nova is now Elavon

Nova recently changed their name to Elavon to create a unified global name. Nova has a better than most reputation in the processing industry, and it seems like changing a company name from Nova to Elavon is a brand suicide.
Anyone processing with Nova should expect to see their statements reflect the new name if it hasn’t been changed already. Other than the name change there should be no difference in service from Elavon.
I don’t like the combining of and changing of big business, and I really don’t like being cornered into being charged $35.00 for their PCI compliance fee; and being told I have to take their survey online, hard to connect to with the millions of merchants frantically trying to take theirs to avoid an additional $20.00 per month penalty fee we all will have to pay if we don’t take their compliance servey. It’s robbery! Three strikes you’re out, Elavon, for bad merchant customer service calls. Oh, and the audacity to say at the end of their PCI compliance announcement letter, “We thank you for your business.” Damn. What do you take us for?
